I'm all about Massachusetts, all the time and, while I have respect for the great political history of this state I, like you, know we're on the wrong track. We all know that professional political insiders and candidates that are looking for another job, even as they fail to do the job they were elected to do, are not the answer and contribute to the culture of corruption in state government that threatens to undermine our quality of life. My political ambition is to provide conservative fiscal leadership for the state, rebuild the Republican Party and support Republican candidates for office. If we can't rebuild the party, we can't change the state.

Many of you know me. I've been fighting Big Government, Big Media, Big Business and Big Labor for years. Democrats want "Reform before Revenue" I, and you, want "Reform not Revenue". My experience fighting the fiscal disaster known as the Big Dig is a road map to the kind of reform that makes a difference. This isn't going to be easy but it's the right thing to do. Special interests have hijacked the Commonwealth and public service has become self service and we're paying for it every day. Â
Let me give you one example of what I would do if, by the grace of God, I'm elected Governor. The talent my administration recruits will agree NOT to become part of the Massachusetts State Pension System and I will move to cap the entire state pension system. I pledge to put the public back into public service. Let's start today.
